One of the best experiences I had in Egypt was sleeping under the stars on the rooftop of the Airbnb I rented. I remember how magical it was...until 5ish in the morning when all the chickens and animals started waking up.
I have a deep love for horses, and I can trace that back to my dad's family, who had a horse and carriage when I was a child. I remember asking them to get me a horse, and even though I did all the calculations for the maintenance costs, they never got one for me. Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned the math!
I am lucky my husband likes travelling too. Nothing stopped us from taking our son everywhere we travelled since he was born. This picture was my birthday gift and I wouldn't have imagined it without my son. I would love to tell you the story about this trip, a real adventure.
One thing you learn when you become a Mom is resilience. My priorities have changed, my ambitions had to be postponed, my time is limited, my mind is too busy. It is challenging for a mom to accept this at the beginning, but with time it will make sense.
